Encourage children to participate, do
not force them.

Focus on the child’s efforts and
performance rather than winning or losing.

Encourage children to play
by the Laws of the Game.

Do not coach from the
sidelines, the only information should
come from the Managers. Never ridicule or yell at a
child for making a mistake or losing a game. Never
publicly criticise your child or other players.

Remember children learn best by
example, applaud good play by both teams.

Support all efforts to remove verbal
and physical abuse from sporting activities.
|
|

|
Respect official’s decisions and
teach children to do likewise. Do not question deciaions made by
officials.

Refrain from verbally attacking
Managers for whatever reason. Remember without them, your child could not
participate. They do not get paid, and take part voluntarily.

|
Discuss any concerns with the Club's
Welfare Officer so that any problems can be addressed in the proper
manner.
|
|
|
Please be
aware that failure to comply with the Club's
'codes of conduct' could prejudice your
child's involvement within the Club. |
